Description
Pacific K500-12 — 500 Ton × 12' Hydraulic Press Brake American-built heavy plate bending capacity from Pacific Press Technologies, one of the last remaining U.S. press brake manufacturers still supporting its installed base. The K-series is Pacific's workhorse hydraulic line — box-frame construction, hydraulically driven ram, and the kind of rigidity that holds bend tolerance across the full 12' bed after decades of service. At 500 tons on a 12-foot bed, this machine handles thick plate work that a standard 200–300 ton brake can't touch — structural components, pressure vessel and tank heads, heavy equipment fabrication, and long-bed forming in mild steel, stainless, and abrasion-resistant plate. Tonnage is available across the full bed length, and the open housing design accommodates deep-throat and off-center work. Pacific machines are known for parts availability and serviceability — hydraulics, seals, and controls remain supportable, and retrofit backgauge and CNC control upgrades (Automec, Cybelec, Hurco) are common on machines of this vintage. Rigging and a reinforced pad or pit are required; approximate machine weight is in the 55,000–70,000 lb range depending on configuration.
